Vocal work
Practice of Singing - Alto and Tenor
Since young age I have continuously sung in choirs, ranging from solo, chamber choir to symphonic choir scale.
I co-founded the Schöneberger Kammerchor, sang an award winning quartet for Sankta Sunniva Kammerkor (Norway) in Greece, a TV-broadcasted mass with the Olive Branches Choir Bethlehem and joined the experimental Chor der Kulturen der Welt in 2014.
Our voice and its implication to gender, identity and norm have been of particular interest for me since my first years at university. Since, I led a series of workshops, contributed to symposia and wrote my Master thesis in Dance Studies on voice, gender and identity.
I have a basic training in Estill Vocal Technique, leading to a great appreciation for improvised musical settings. My journey in singing is ongoing and there is a lot for me to learn in singing.
